Accessible Church

We aim to make our Church welcoming and accessible to all. If you have a particular need or concern, please contact the Church office.

Parking & Readibus

In the forecourt there are two designated spaces for blue badge holders and the forecourt can be used for dropping off and collection. There is a designated disabled bay available in the Church carpark from Norwood Rd and in the Warehouse carpark from Cumberland Rd. Readibus will drop off and accompany visitors inside, as necessary.

There is a wheelchair available if required.

Entering the Church

Wheelchair ramps provide easy access at all the Church entrances, with double doors to give ample space for movement in and out.  Stewards will be available to open the doors.  

Seating

Please ask a steward if you have seating needs and they will try to accommodate you.  We can provide an orthopaedic chair upon request.

Sound and Vision

Large print handouts are available on request at the welcome desk. There is also a hearing loop in the Kings Room and Sports Hall, in the Warehouse.

Signage on internal doors is in Braille.

Assistance dogs are welcome.

Accessible Toilets

There is one accessible toilet adjacent to the King’s Room via the door to the left of the pulpit. There is a small ramp and a further door into a foyer where the toilet is situated. There are a further two accessible toilets in the Warehouse, which can be reached from the back of the King’s Room. There is a set of double doors to go through.  Please ask a steward for assistance, they will be happy to help you.
