Baptism ** We believe Jesus loves it when we respond to his

command to be baptised. For more information please contact the church office or one of the pastors.

** When being baptised it’s great when people tell their

stories. But if “making a speech” scares you, we can always find another way for you to talk about your commitment to the Lord, so don’t be put off.

** Next Baptismal service will be September 14th

An opportunity Ever thought of getting a new perspective on the congregation

to serve at church services? How about becoming an OHP operator!

the Lord We need some morning and evening. It’s not onerous and won’t be indefinite, if only because the OHP’s will become redundant when the church refurbishment happens. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to serve the Lord. Contact John Fung. (Contact details from church office)

Exciting opportunity for accountants!!

Do you want to share the excitement of seeing first

hand how God provides for our financial needs?

I am keen to share the excitement with someone who can

help me and the finance team manage the church's finances.

Specifically I am looking for someone to:

- oversee the day to day supervision of the management accounts on Sage
- produce monthly accounts from Sage

Note this does not mean that you will post the accounts onto Sage but manage the process.

Experience of Sage and double entry bookkeeping would be a big advantage.

To address common concerns:

- This is not a deacon role and so you would not be required to attend church council meetings
- You do not have to present the accounts at church meetings - I am happy doing this.

If you are interested or have any questions please do give me a call or give your details to the church office, I would be pleased to talk with you.

Thanks
Stuart Weekes
